Wingless cockroaches

Recommended products: Guardian

Wingless cockroaches are active through the warmer months. Breeding takes place throughout summer, and adults produce live young. Development from hatching to adult takes about 21 weeks in late summer, autumn and winter. Most nymphal stages are present in summer. The adult female is wingless, dark brown in colour with yellow marks on the upper surface around the edge of the thorax and abdomen and up to 35 mm in length. The males may be winged and are smaller than the females. They run and hide quickly when disturbed and are found under thrash, or in cracks. They feed on above ground parts of seedlings.
