Worldwide and local research
Through extensive worldwide and local research and development programs, Hannaford has created the unique 'Flow-Through' technology, which has been attached exclusively to our mobile seed processors. This in turn gives our customers access to this world class application technology on their own farm.
The 'Flow-Through' system ensures seed treatments for controlling fungal diseases in cereal and legume crops are evenly distributed over and adhered to the seed's surface.
The seed is weighed in 10 kg batches prior to applying an accurate quantity of seed treatment.

The mixing process
The mixing process begins immediately to promote even coverage in a purpose developed stainless steel mixing chamber. The 'Flow-Through' treater can be adjusted for a wide range of application rates, grain types and varieties.
