Product development
With increasing technology being used in all aspects of crop growing and stricter requirements for storage, handling and application of crop protection products, there is a constant need to develop our seed treatment products.
In this way we maintain our position with state of the art products and the broadest product range.
Product development at Hannaford entails:
- Taking new chemistry and measuring field performance in Australia and reporting all the regulatory required aspects of the chemical to achieve product registration.
- Refining products already registered and in use, and fine tuning the formulation and/or packaging to improve the handling, safety, application, presentation and efficacy of the product.
- Revising aspects of established products to ensure they meet today’s standards.
- Maintaining labels and material safety data sheets.
- Product support by training the professional seed treatment operators and growers and attending to technical inquiries.
